Refund & Cancellation Policy — Vevion

This policy governs refunds and cancellations for purchases made on vevion.in, including live online cohorts/bootcamps, offline (in‑person) classes, self‑paced programs, workshops/webinars, and digital learning materials, and applies in addition to the website Terms and Privacy Policy.

Principles

Vevion aims to offer a fair, clear, and time‑bound process for cancellations and refunds while meeting applicable consumer protection expectations for e‑commerce services in India.

Terms are presented in plain language to help learners make informed decisions before purchase and enrollment.

Eligibility and Refund Windows

  • Live online cohorts / bootcamps: Full refund if requested up to 7 days before the announced batch start date.
  • Live online cohorts / bootcamps: 50% refund if requested between 7 days and 24 hours before the batch start date.
  • Live online cohorts / bootcamps: No monetary refund once the batch starts; a one‑time free batch transfer is available within 30 days, subject to seat availability.
  • Offline (in‑person) classes: Full refund if requested up to 10 days before the scheduled start date to account for venue and operational commitments.
  • Offline (in‑person) classes: 50% refund if requested between 10 days and 72 hours before the start date, reflecting pre‑committed venue and logistics costs.
  • Offline (in‑person) classes: No refund within 72 hours of the start date or after commencement; one free transfer to the next available in‑person batch is allowed within 30 days if seats are available, otherwise a transfer fee may apply.
  • Self‑paced / on‑demand courses: Refunds within 7 days of purchase if less than 10% of content is accessed; otherwise not refundable.
  • Workshops / webinars: Seat transfer to a future run or to another participant is allowed up to 24 hours before the event; no refunds for no‑shows or cancellations within 24 hours.

Offline (In‑Person) Class Terms

  • Substitutions: A learner may nominate a substitute attendee up to 24 hours before the session start at no extra charge, subject to eligibility verification.
  • Venue changes: Vevion may change the venue within the same city for operational reasons with reasonable prior notice; learners may opt for a free transfer if the new venue is not feasible.
  • Travel and accommodation: Travel, lodging, and incidental expenses are the learner’s responsibility and are not refundable by Vevion.
  • Identification and conduct: Government‑issued ID may be required at entry, and participants must follow onsite safety, security, and conduct guidelines; violations may lead to removal without refund.
  • Materials and equipment: Course materials provided are for personal use; damage to venue property or equipment caused by a participant may be chargeable.

Non‑Refundable Items

  • Downloadable digital products, completed sessions, and certification or assessment fees are non‑refundable unless required otherwise by applicable law.
  • Promotional or bundled offers marked as non‑refundable at purchase are excluded from refunds.

Minimum Enrollment and Provider‑Initiated Changes

  • If minimum enrollment is not met or a facilitator becomes unavailable, Vevion may reschedule or move learners to a comparable batch at no cost, or offer a full refund at the learner’s choice.
  • In rare cases, classes may be postponed or moved online to ensure continuity, with the option of transfer or refund as applicable.

How to Request a Refund

Email mihir.n@vevion.in with the order ID, registered email/phone, product/program name, purchase date, and reason for refund, and Vevion will confirm eligibility or request any missing details.

Approved requests are acknowledged by email with next steps.

Processing, Method, and Timelines

  • Once approved, refunds are initiated within 3–5 business days and are credited to the original payment method used for the transaction, subject to the respective bank or payment provider’s processing timelines.
  • Partial refunds may be issued where applicable (for example, pre‑start cancellations or pro‑rated adjustments explicitly stated in offer terms).

Rescheduling and Batch Transfers

One free transfer is allowed for live online or in‑person cohorts if requested within 30 days of the original start date, subject to availability; additional transfers may attract an administrative fee announced at the time of the request.

Rescheduling options for workshops/webinars are limited to seat transfers as described above.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If a dispute or chargeback is raised with an issuing bank or payment provider, resolution will follow applicable network and provider rules, and Vevion may request supporting documents to conclude the case promptly.

Parallel refund processing may pause until a dispute is resolved to avoid duplicate outcomes.

Exceptions

Requests involving suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of Vevion’s Terms may be declined, and Vevion may restrict future enrollments under applicable policies.

In force majeure situations, Vevion may offer rescheduling or batch transfers in place of refunds where reasonable.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This policy is governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Bengaluru, India, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
