AWS Support Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Skills:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AWS services and resources, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
• Monitor AWS infrastructure performance and reliability using tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Implement and maintain AWS security best practices, including access control, encryption, and compliance.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Configure and optimize networking services such as VPCs, subnets, and security groups in AWS.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability in AWS environments.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents and escalations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with a focus on AWS cloud environments.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
